Options

Trading in options is almost as common as trading in stocks, but with a higher level of risk due to the volatility in the price of the options. Meaning that a change in the price of the stock shall cause a drastic volatility in the price of the option. Futures

Futures are financial devices that are traded in stock exchange. Futures are an obligation to supply a certain asset at a future date when the price is set in advance and the payment is made at the time the asset or the commodity is submitted.
Interactive Brokers offers access to real-time trading in futures in more than 35 stock exchanges throughout the world. Amongst the main stock exchanges are Euronext in Germany, CBOE & CME in Chicago, Tocom in Japan and Life in London.
With futures, you can trade products from different industries such as coins, energy, indexes and metals using the same account you use to trade other securities. Interactive Brokers has advanced tools for traders who are interested in futures, in addition to the advanced arbitrage tools.

ETF's

An ETF (exchange traded fund) is a financial instrument whose purpose is to allow trades to trade in a variety of products using only one security. By doing so, an ETF allows a traded to diversify his portfolio without the need to invest in every product separately.
While trading with Interactive Brokers you can purchase leveraged ETFs or sell the ETFs short.
